Welcome back to the new school year. For those of you visiting in search of Joe Debely Field renovation photos, your're in luck! Mr H has just completed a 1:30 minute montage of the construction from start to finish. There are a few weeks missing here and there, but it still looks pretty cool. Check it out below:

The CCC meet is fast approaching! Come to Atwater High to witness some of the best loacl track talent on Friday, May 14th.

Congratulations to the Varsity & JV Girls, as well as the JV Boys for closing out the season with strong performances and team wins over Los Banos. Results can be found in the "Results" section above and photos several photos from the meet will soon follow as well. Time to prepare for the CCC's next week at Atwater.

Since the TUSD Joe Debely construction site is still not running, THSTrack.org has decided to bring you several photographic updates per week. Enjoy!

Another interestingly mild & cloudy day made for a great meet at Atwater's Falcon Field. While Atwater nearly completed a clean sweep of the team events, THS athletes ran to the best of their abilities with several season's bests. The uptick in performance is a great benchmark that shows our athletes will be ready to peak when it counts at the CCC meet, a mere three weeks from now. Photos from the meet will be posted in the next several days.

Also, please note that 4.28's meet at Pitman will be a double dual meet with Turlock vs Pitman, Pitman vs Merced, & Merced vs Turlock. Should be fun! Just keep your fingers crossed for the rain to stay away.

After a rainout, we've had some changes to our schedule along with the unexpected addition of the County Meet tonight at MJC. Field Events start at 4pm with Running events scheduled to start at 6pm. Be sure to note all the changes on the "Schedule" page.

Speaking of changes, Joe Debely Stadium is a massive mound of dirt and concrete these days. Photos will make their way to this site as time permits.

The ol' dirt track went out in style today as the THS Track Team won three out of the four team scores. With a new track set to begin construction on April 5th, this was the very last high school meet on dirt at THS. Of the many highlights from the day, it is worth mentioning that the pole vault crew set six PR's during the meet, which is a monumental feat considering the very cool and blustery conditions at the track. DON'T FORGET TO SUPPORT THE JUNIOR HIGH MEET 4.1.2010 (THURSDAY)
Team Scores:
- Varsity Girls won 81-54
- Varsity Boys fell 89-46
- JV Girls won 67-22
-JV boys won 77-54

The CCC season is officially underway after a rousing performance at the mildly breezy Golden Valley Track. Of the many PR's set at the meet, Eric Larson's 6'0" in the high jump set the gold-standard for the day. WIth performances like those shown today, the rest of the season looks bright! Keep working hard!
Team Scores:
- Varsity Girls won 95-40
- Varsity Boys fell 95-41
- JV Girls won 57-13
- JV Boys won 76-53

Thanks to helpful city redevelopment funds, THS's (district) track and field will be getting modernized with artificial turf and a rubberized track very soon!  Construction is slated to begin April 5th, 2010 and will be completed by September.  The field will be constructed using Mondoturf Ecofill, while the track will be a fast polyurethane CalTrax surface.  The days of kayak practice around the track appear to be over!!

Nearly one trillion athletes converged on Stanislaus State’s Brenda Invitational on Saturday.  Many THS athletes performed admirably in their first competition of the season , and are now tuned-up and ready to go for the first CCC meet of 2010 this Wednesday at Golden Valley High School. Be sure to check out the photos and results using the links above.

Mr H had fun with his new camera at practice on Thursday. Click the above photo to see more.

Team photos will be Thursday, 3.11.10, at the football field. Be there for the last team photo in history on the natural grass. Uniforms will be distributed Tuesday & Wednesday March 10 & 11 in Mr H's room (L-3). Returning seniors, juniors and underclass varsity members will get their unis on Tuesday, while everyone else will get theirs on Wednesday.

The THS track team, like many athletic teams in the area, is dealing with an extremely small budget. If you would like to help support the team by purchasing add space on this site or on meet photos, please email Coach Brown, or Ryan Hollister (links to the left). Nearly 2000 unique visitors have visited the site in the past two years and would be a very easy way to get your local business seen by hundreds of local community members. Inquire for pricing.

Welcome to the new THStrack.org. The new schedule is posted and we've cleaned-up the look of site just a tad to make it more user-friendly. Enjoy poking around the site and viewing the meet photos! (We're still tweaking a few things here & there so expect a few delays)
